What you need to know to join the TITFL

This is full contact, tackle football, played by men. It is fast and very physical. You must be physically fit and be prepared for intense competition.
All players supply their own equipment.
All league games are played at Soccerworld Polson Pier, 176 Cherry St, Toronto.
Games are Saturday nights.
Each Game is 60 minutes. The game clock is continuous. It does not stop for out-of-bounds, incomplete passes, change of possession, etc. The play clock is 30 seconds long. That includes the spot of the ball and setting of the teams. Each team does have three time-outs to use at their discretion throughout the game.
The format is 7-vs-7, offence vs defense. No kicking game, no special teams.
All participants must sign the participation waiver before playing in any TITFL sanctioned event.

When thinking about entering a team in the TITFL you should have at least 10 guys ready to go (we can supply some free agents), an experienced quarter back and an experienced centre. Everything builds around those two positions.
Be upfront with your team prospects about costs ad commitment expected, collect a deposit to get started.
Teams supply their own jerseys and their jerseys must be approved by the league.
Team captains are responsible to ensure the league fee is paid. A deposit will be due to the league prior to the season starting to reserve your spot on the schedule.
Team captains are organized and love the game of football. It's not easy but it can be a lot of fun playing ball with your buddies!
